Refund Policy

14-day conditional refund
HamroRentals charges a one-time success fee per signed lease (USD 10 for landlords, USD 6 for tenants). You may request a full refund of this fee within 14 days of payment if any of the following applies:
- The lease was cancelled or never commenced.
- The counterparty failed to sign or honour the lease.
- The platform did not deliver the paid feature (e.g. credit-score recording failed on our side).
- You were charged in duplicate or in error.
Refunds are not available where the lease has commenced, both parties have signed, and the service has been delivered as described — in that case the success fee is earned. Outside the 14-day window we will still review fairness-based requests on a case-by-case basis.
How to request a refund
Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, who is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. To request a refund:
- Visit paddle.net and look up your order using the email address used at checkout, or
- Email admin@hamrorentals.com with your order ID and the reason for the refund. We will forward eligible requests to Paddle.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 3–10 business days depending on your bank.

FAQ — for renters & landlords
I'm a renter and the landlord backed out — can I get my USD 6 back?
Yes. If the lease never commenced or the landlord didn't sign, request a refund within 14 days and we'll approve it.
I'm a landlord and the tenant disappeared after signing — can I get my USD 10 back?
If the lease was fully signed and we delivered the credit-score recording, the success fee is earned. If the tenant never signed or never moved in, request a refund within 14 days. Outside that window we still review fairness-based requests case-by-case.
Who actually sends the money back?
Paddle, our Merchant of Record. The refund goes to the original card or wallet, usually within 3–10 business days.
How long does approval take?
We aim to review eligible requests within 2 business days. Paddle then processes the refund itself.
What if I miss the 14 days?
Email admin@hamrorentals.com anyway — if the platform clearly failed to deliver, we'll still help.
